To put that in perspective, thats 6,850 times per day. This means that each year, firearms are used more than 80 times more often to protect the lives of honest citizens than to take lives when looking at total gun deaths.

Which I know lot a people don't agree with me when I say it but I think the church is largely to blame for that. Which they've been failing to do lately and instead preach money this money that BS. Just hear me out and think about it, you need a moral fabric to your society. Without a moral fabric, it doesn't matter what laws you pass.
As cheezy as it may sound, you need fools like myself to get on our little soap boxes and preach. You do wrong you'll go to hell, you accept Christ, change your life, you'll get eternity. Not everyone's gonna follow that but with righteousness and wickedness constantly being preached about even if they don't agree with the Christ part they'll have the morals in mind next time they think about doing something really crazy or terrible.
We need that kinda old school churchiness.
