however, i'm quite curious if internet's hackers can actually make the latest build of the game work even after the official servers shutdown, or even better, make the game fully unlocked and moddable, now imagine that!
You would be right, at least when counting me. I didnt want F2P, although I mostly stayed quiet, and I would have given the game a try before they decided to make the Halloween General (Muerta, wich even sounds bad and means dead, not even Death, just dead, on the feminine). Bottomline, I would have respected whatever came out of the studio, but if I didnt like it, I would just type in the reasons why and stop playing it, like I did with RA3.
It's still up, hope it last for long, if not - i am sure the people will find a way to emulate server for C&C, like they did in C&C4.
EA being EA.

I dont think its possible to mod this "game", because of Frostbite engine... unfortunatly...
Indeed, i just remembered that, quite dissapointed really, even if i wasn't really a fan of origin, but i would've loved to see a new C&C game release
I'm going to play devils advocate for a second, but how hard would it be to beleave that EA screwed it over than that you guys didn't want f2p?
I may be wrong, but it is a thought.
