A logical case against theism.

now this i MUST respond too:D
1. him saying that God would ensure that everyone would know of God. this I think God does, for those that truly seek him, he reveals himself too. another reason why God didn't come down to earth and say i am God, is because, 1. his holiness would make corpses of all the sinners (including me and you) and 2. (which is the better reason) he already DID!! Jesus was here 2000 years ago, what do you expect, him showing up every time a new human is born? or do you just think that he should put longing for him in our minds? Which from my understanding he did. except that its up to us to let him in or not. he stands at the doors and knocks, whoever opens that door he will dine with. (clearly metaphoric and what i remember from my memory verses) unfortunately the knocking eventually becomes a background sound. kind of like a fridge eventually just becomes background noise and you no longer pay attention to it.
2. him pointing out that science flavors atheism. this he is right about, but he mixes empirical science with historical science. also historical science SHOULD take into account the facts that the bible describes instead of trying to make up a story based on evidence that can point in both ways.
3. him pointing out mind body relations. if we were not dependent on our bodies then what would be the gift of eternal life?
4. evolution. mutations cannot account for single cells to humans kind of upgrading. its basically these carcasses look similar so we "think" that they are related sort of thing. where one could have just been a little sick and or mutated a lot so it looked like it was evolving. basically without solid experimental evidence i refuse the idea of evolution. as for why stuff are poorly made? well what would be eternal life without an upgrade from what we now know as life? also part of the consequences was pain and death which partly happen because of our poor "design" if you want to call it that.
5. world pain. this is quite easy to answer, its because of us that there is world pain. because of our sins and disobedience this world is imperfect. ever since the initial sin we no longer live in Eden where everything was perfect, pain free, death free, etc. so why did God let us eat the fruit? because how else could we have free will if we could not do something wrong? unfortunately all choices have consequences and the consequence of the fall was that pain, death, suffering, disease, etc entered the world. also God had to withdraw from this world since he can't bare sin. God hates sin. therefore he cannot be near sin, also for our protection we could no longer see God. we would die otherwise. sorry if im over using we, i mean the human race in general.

If you aren't bothering to read then you are not qualified to respond. If you people are so convinced that there is no God and our faith is false, why do you need to attack our beliefs constantly? Also, if we (believers) have to keep our beliefs to ourselves, then you have to keep yours to yourselves. It works both ways. Stop attacking everything in sight like a bunch of rabid animals, hypocrites.

Yuri, this is an atheist group we can post whatever we want here- you dont have to come and comment. this group was not made for you, why do you come here anyways? could it be that you know deep down we are right?
The fact that you do shows why we have to fight- because right now you are attacking us. you are the aggressor and the one wrong here. we leave the christains group alone- but you guys continously attack us.
and why do we attack your beliefs? because christains continously attack us. if christains would stop being intolerant oppressive bastards and keep your beleifs to yourselves then atheists would stop having to defending themselves but as you have proven by needlessly attacking us again that will never happen.
and lastly if your god was real than he wouldnt need you to defend him- he is suppose to be all powerful isnt he? so you comming here to "defend" him just shows that either A. hes powerless or B. he doesnt exist and you are desusional.

either way it doesnt matter because as i said you are the one harrassing us for our beliefs- not the other way around. you are the oppressor here. We have the right to free speech, now unless you are againist the rights guarenteed by the 1st ammendment i suggest you shut up and go back to brooding about israel or whatever it is you do when your not insulting atheists.

I don't want to sound rude, but you don't know what you're talking about, Evolution IS NOT mutations, it's the adaptation of an animal to an enviroment, it can take many generations as it can happen in a period of life, you want evidence? Go and read Darwin's book "The Origin of Life"
Or simple biology text books, go to the museum or study the ****** subject @ Elf.
