Is this okay stocko2k? Wireframe of my fiat 500 as requested
i think you should try and eliminate the triangles if your going to be mesh/turbo smoothing you also have some polys that are ngons (5+ sided) that should be worked.
obviously if this is just for your own personal pleasure you can have it with as many tris and ngons as it needs to hold the shape, but game engines dont like the ngons and during mesh/turbo smoothing the model you will get some smoothing/shading errors.
yes im going to work on a game optimized version cutting out the tris and ill fix the ngon problems shouldnt be too difficult as i was going to attempt to do a little source engine mini rally mod featuring this and the abarth rally version of the car and maybe a few other cars.
It's a cool little car. stocko2k's crits are pretty valid here. In the modeling I would have suggested creating each individual panel, including the doors, seperately and duplicating the verts to continue the next part. I've tried doing it this way before and founding have to knife-cut or loop-cut in the details a much messier afair. Check out my Teggy model a few uploads back which was my 1st successful car model out of many attempts.
Individual pannels gives you real problems later if i want to put it ingame and it can screw up the model when i attatch the pannels. Your model is okay but a little different to mine as this is a more complex curve shape thats why individual pannels do not work so well
