So, we haven't updated this in a while...
Recently we've been seriously busy with real life problems, I've got more uni work than I have time and GeneralBert has been forced to learn C# for an apprentiship in software production somewhere by a company that may steal his soul away.
Because of this we've not had any time at all to work on the game and we've discovered we have so many problems with things we're doing and evertything is just being set back as second priority now.
So right now me and Bert are discussing what we're gonna do here. You're probably thinking right now that we're gonna give up on this project and let it die, well you're wrong! However, we have decided that we're going to revert Beta Strain to the planning stage, remove all what we've done so far and start again, in our own time, with better planning, because what we have now is a 2 page document which none of us seem to understand and so many ideas that we're just ruining everything.
Our current plan is now to simple get our skills and talents sorted before we attempt to create the game again, because due to what we were doing last time, we didn't get as far as we thought we could.
We are however going to be releasing some smaller, less complex games which we are creating for not only work but fun, these smaller games will help us get closer to creating Beta Strain again, with hopefully our own dedicated game engine. (I'm learning that ;)).
We're sorry it's come to this and want to thank you all for your continued support, it got us this far!
We're on pretty much all social sites, follow us if you want to keep up to date with our minigames and such because this page may not be updated for a while.
Kudos to doing what you feel is right instead of dragging in a half-hearted game that you feel you could have made much better.
