Check out this sneak peek from our latest test play session! In this video, I showcase some exciting new features and bug fixes implemented in the tool:
- Event Commands & Booleans: I revisit a feature from an early Yume Classic demo – the reintroduction of Event Commands with Boolean integration. Now, solving input puzzles triggers Boolean switches, offering diverse gameplay possibilities.
- Utilizing Booleans in Map Editor: Booleans aren't just for puzzles; they can also be linked to doors in the Map Editor, acting as keys to unlock them. This gives players more flexibility in accessing areas.
- Dynamic Lighting Effects: Watch as environment lighting changes dynamically via Touch Events when transitioning between indoor and outdoor environments, adding depth to the atmosphere.
- Post-Battle Healing Mechanism: Introducing a new feature where save points can heal party members after battles, ensuring they stay in fighting shape for the next encounter.
Additionally, I've addressed several bugs and made enhancements, including:
- Equipment display issue upon loading
- Loading failure of time settings
- Addition of "Locked" translation for doors
- Doors now display a message when locked
- Save crystals now emit a sound upon successful save, with potential addition of a "Game successfully saved" toast message
- Skip option for post-battle experience counter
- Added option to turn off lighting effects for Change Sky feature (applicable to both sunlight and moonlight)
