As a Mapper at Infinity Interactive, we expect all applicants to be able to use Source SDK to a very experienced level as well as having a creative mind and being able to come up with good ideas.

You will be expected to create serveral maps based from either real life areas or completely made up environments. You will be expected to be able to create realistic scenery, as well as this you will be expected to be able to optimize your maps for best performance as well as understanding the I/O system and how optimization works.

As for mapping skills, we expect you to be able to use Valve's Hammer Editor to a skilled extent, this means being able to use; professional lighting, adding models to your map, using textures correctly and being able to create detailed maps but stable for online gameplay (in some instances).

It also helps if you are able to create your own models and textures, however this is not an expectation.

If accepted any work made for Infinity Interactive applications/games must not be used for other groups and must be kept to us and only us. This also means any work made for another company must not be used for us.

- Here at Infinity, we're all team players and we expect you to be to, working as a team is a great advantage and we don't expect any conflicts. If there are any problems, you are able to contact Ancient with your problem.

- At Infinity, we are looking for people who are enthusiastic about gaming and creating games. We are looking for people who are willing to give most if not all of their free time to developing and testing. If you are someone who doesn't like to work often or in a team, you're not what we are looking for. As much as we are looking for skilled people, we would much prefer someone who is enthusiastic about creating a game who is a little underskilled than someone who is very skilled but lazy.

--PLEASE NOTE--

All jobs at Infinity Interactive are currently unpaid. As much as we'd like to pay staff we can not currently.

Applications that do not include detailed information about yourself or past work (if any) will not be read, we expect applications to be more than one liners, thankyou.

--PREFERENCES--

Here at Infinity, we mostly communicate via Skype or Steam, we'd much prefer it if you had these methods of communication, if you do please let us know in your application.

As much as time zones are not an issue, we are looking for people closer to the GMT time zone, this however is not a problem if your time zone is completely off.

We would prefer applications to be made on our forum as it's easier to process and get checked. However email applications are also possible.

--GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATIONS - [PLEASE READ]--

When sending an application to us we would like to know about your past work history and if you have worked on projects in the past some examples of the work and proof that it is your work.

We would also like to know a little more about you and what makes you want to develop games.

--FINALLY--
