Free game demo available for download! Vertical Drop Heroes is a procedural platformer-RPG hybrid where your hero adventures through randomly generated stages. Armed with a variety of randomised skills and traits, you must use your cunning and reflexes to survive the dangers of each stage, until you face the final boss and uncover the truth behind the game! This is a complete remake (built with Gamemaker Studio) of one of my first browser games, Vertical Drop Heroes, which was first released way back in 2010. I've made a lot of other games since then, and game development has been my full time career for the last 2 years. This project marks a departure for me from Flash based games to "full-fat" games on the desktop, and it's something that I'm really excited about. All the artwork and coding is done by me, though I will be outsourcing the music composition later in the project.

Thank you, I'm really excited that I'm getting a chance to launch this project! The tough thing is doing both the development and promotion of the game at once, while taking care of my 1 year old daughter... it's a little like juggling chainsaws ;)
