Unity of Command is an innovative and refreshing operational-level wargame that covers the entire 1942/43 Stalingrad Campaign on the Eastern Front. Playable from both the Axis and Soviet perspective, it strives to recreate the strategy, the forces involved and the general tension of that crucial period in World War II.

Features:

  • * Easy to learn and intuitive, with fast and flowing gameplay
  • * Historically accurate operational-level units (Axis divisions, Soviet corps)
  • * 17 single player scenarios, Axis and Soviet, at the scale of 20km per hex, 4 days per turn
  • * Campaign mode that puts historical and what-if scenarios in strategic context
  • * Sophisticated weather model, with realistic per-hex weather
  • * Novel supply system, providing for exciting battles of encirclement and breakout
  • * Belligerent and aggressive AI that knows how to counterattack and threaten supply lines
  • * Integrated "History Mode" for after-action replays
  • * Multiplayer via the Internet

I'd love to see the Linux version of UoC, as well as the Red Turn and Black Turn DLCs appear here!

That would be super :-)

Please bring the Linux version here, 2x2! The Linux community loves you, but not all of us love Steam.

Thanks!!

Dear Devs,

I want to buy "Red Turn DLC" here on Desura, since I have bought my game here. Will it be possible?
Or do I have to get Steam?

I've updated the base game to 1.04a on Desura, so you should at least get the scenario editor and other base game improvements.

I'm trying to work out with the Desura guys if the DLC can be published through Desura. If that doesn't work out, and once you update the base game to 1.04a, you can pick up the DLC at our site.

OK, so it appears the Desura system does not handle DLCs.

You can still get the DLC from our site, and it will work fine with the Desura version. When installing the DLC, just select the "Unity of Command" directory wherever Desura keeps the game installed and it will work just fine.

Additionally, you can register with us and use our own version if you prefer that as your upgrade path. Check the instructions here:

Cheers!

You can do DLC's now. I have three DLC packs for "Dungeons of Dredmor", and one DLC pack for "Steel Storm: Burning Retribution".

Perhaps bring the Linux version & demo, as well as the Red Turn DLC? Thanks!!

Hi, Matrix were delayed and just caught up to version 1.03, we released this on Desura weeks ago.

If you're unsure, please go to Main Menu -> Credits and check the version number at the bottom. It should say 1.03.

Cheers,

Tomislav
