Trashgames took a bit of a kick in the teeth last week when Dope City Wars was rejected by Apple for release on the iPhone on grounds of objectionable content :(

The good news is that the game is making it's way to PC and Mac! Because the game is no longer limited by the iPhone hardware, or Apple's regulations, it is being improved with new graphics and gameplay.

Keep an eye open for more news and info to come regarding the all new enhanced version of Dope City Wars, coming to PC and Mac soon!

Here's a pic from the updated PC and Mac build. Enjoy!

However, all GTA "murder and steal" clones seem to be accepted. Such a double standard. :P

Huh, without want to be really annoying, but you mean WINDOWS and Mac.

PC also implies GNU/Linux and today Mac is a PC too. (PC is hardware that use x86 processor).

That said... Nice game seemly :D I wanna see it! Too bad Unity hates GNU :(

Also, some people is mentioning that Unity will work on Android, and Android store is less restrictive, you should store your mobile code safe somewhere, for when Android becomes available ;) (IF it becomes available, of course... there are no guarantees).

must suck having to pay for unity iphone, iphone itself and the apple developer program just to find out your game its getting rejected in the app store

android will be available shortly with unity 3, sure its a less restrictive store, but it doesnt even compare with the app store in terms of user base and regions where the android store is actually available, and you would have to pay for yet another license and pay for the device

so yeah releasing it to win and mac its the best move you have right now

good luck

This is why I don't own one of these smartphones or whatever they're called. It's an outrage that some else decides what content I can or can't enjoy on my system. Good luck with the PC and Mac version guys!

I'm sorry for you - this really sucks :/
But now I can play this game too when it comes out :D

By the way, Android does not decide what content you can enjoy, you can copy your self-written apps (or downloaded, whatever) onto you phone (via USB) and use a app-installer (get it free from the android-market)
