Toaster-Kun is a tap-action game. You have to tap the screen to successfully prepare your toast friends for a hearty breakfast! It's a test of endurance on higher levels!
Woke up and reached over to my iTouch to see what emails have came through and I got 3 emails from Apple: You app is being reviewed, your app has changed state, your app is approved. YAY!!! Links do not work, but will finish the trailer in time to get it to you guys(and gals). So as a gesture of kindness, a screengrab from the trailer.
Today was another solid development day. If by solid you mean chasing your tail for 4 hours.
Emails went out this morning and by the evening feedback came rolling in!

wahaha so cute! :3
Is there such a thing as too cute? Because that's what I am going for with the trailer :P.
this game is awesome, i hope at level 20 i get to toast a bagel :D
lol, that's a cool idea :D!!!
Fearing a small re-write of a few sections handling how the game saves the users progress. No one likes going to level 1000 and having to manually tap to that level each time they want to play... Unity makes saving player-states really easy.
New video soon! Changed the GUI a bit based on feedback and will be adding some toaster-ific themed background elements while playing.
Today was an ok day for Toaster-Kun development. Most of what I am learning will be applied to the next game which I hope will turn around good for me. Most of today was spent not fighting, but just learning Unity3D at the same time I am developing. Turns out that most of the syntax isn't an issue if you have a nice Java book on hand. Plus I have some experience with Mel scripting. So art and scripting aside, my BIGGEST hurdle is music and sound effects. I remember Empty Garbage Before Dad Flips from music class and that's about it.
One of the best things to owning a Mac is having a lot of basic tools at your disposal, and I will be using Garage Band!!!
