Picking up where TMC left off. 25 years have passed. Vinnie now an adult has drifted towards gangs. The world is falling apart all around him, and there are whispers that the long gone reds may be on the rise once more. Vinnie must decide whether to risk his life, or turn to an old friend who is now 55, to help him protect his friends, and to help him prevent the end of the world. In the end it may not be enough, as earth resources dwindle down to nothing, and the end of mankind begins.
The ACT TRACKER from TMC will make its return in T IV. With one slight difference. T IV, has a FINALE named 'The End My Friend' which ends the THUG series forever.

Now one may ask if thats the end of the game, why put it there? If the game ends, how would you check to see if you have completed the finale or not. WELL NOW arent we on to something here. The story ends, but you may wander around the world and do various missions and activities.
Different weapons and some enemies (even after the Finale) plus respawning pedestrians (and respawning cars) will make Free Roam more fun, different weapons and stuff seems easy, but I dunno about how to get them respawning.
Oh yeah no worries on that- there will be tons to kill, tons more weapons to find, way more leveling up to do, and tons of bonus and side content. The story may be ending, but the gameplay will go on. The way the story ends, sets up everything very nicely, and to be honest, the final act of this game is what Thug: Apocalypse would have been, hence the acts name being 'Apocalypse' It ends the Main series, and sets up an entirely new world, new problems, new enemies, new map possibilities. And that can all make for some very fun and interesting Free Roam. After the story is over, your given a world, your given the know how on how to explore and survive in it, and your given the weapons to conquer this world. After that its up to you to decide what to do. Are you going to call it a day and be like damn what a nice story, games beat, im done. Or will you take the weapons, take the know how, and put it to use to entertain yourself.
