The Assumer is a psychological thriller with a heavy emphasis on atmosphere and narrative which aims to bring traditional adventure games into the next generation with a combination of technical and creative innovations. Assuming the role of an engineer stranded in an abandoned facility, you must use your skills and knowledge to uncover the truth and escape with your life. The game will feature 2 unique mechanics, firstly as you progress through the game, you will Assume the identities of personnel, taking with you not only their skills and knowledge, but their memories and sense of identity. Secondly, as you progress, you will start to understand that the different areas of the facility are intrinsically linked, and so depend on each other to function correctly. This means that solving a puzzle in a particular way, may get your the desired result momentarily, yet is only part of series of metagames which have larger repercussions than first meet the eye.

After countless hours of design, editing, redesign and programming. The Assumer has finally been submitted to to Kickstarter with the hope that crowdfunding will enable us to to make dreams come true!
Its been a really hard two months with working full time and creating a Kickstarter campaign, and working 8-5 and then 9-2AM really doesn't help, but in the end our hard work will pay off. Of this I am confident.
It's a case of 'watch this space' for now, but I'll keep you posted!
