SurviveRL (working title) is NOT another survival first person game. Read on please. It is a concept where the world persists around the player. Actions have cause and effect. Killing an enemy, helping a creature can generate an outcome much later in the game. Multiplayer and modding support are part of the building blocks to the code, making for replayability and extensibility. There will be a single player campaign/story mode also.
Turning off death, standing still eventually had a horde of dragons find me, and attack on sight.
As part of combat stress testing, I decided to turn off the player death, and stand still for a short while. Wandering dragons, one-by-one, spotted me and came in to attack.
The health points kept dropping....
