Battle across 38 planets to gain control of the Galaxy! 'Absolute Galactic Civil War' and 'Absolute Imperial War' are a pair of Galactic Conquests which I believe contains some of the best GCW era mod maps around. I have made great effort to make these mods look as polished and well finished as possible. In addition to these files, you must also download all the map mods required to make it work. A full list of the maps required, along with the credit of who made the mod, is written further down in the description below. I hope you enjoy!

Highlights of these Galactic Conquests include:
- 38 unique planets, only 11 of which are stock planets
- Each planet location is correct based on SWGalaxyMap.com
- Includes 48 maps, including the 3 space maps and 9 stock maps
- Each planet has a unique camera zoom effect
- The Yavin model that plagues most custom galactic conquests has been fixed
- Disabled the enemy team from buying bonuses that will have no effect on them
- Dantooine, Rhen Var and Yavin all have multiple map options

AS FAR AS I CAN TELL, THIS GC SHOULD STILL WORK CORRECTLY. BUT IF ANYONE NOTICES ANYTHING UNUSUAL WHILE PLAYING, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
- Auto installation:
To install, simply move both folders included ('addon' and 'data') into your GameData folder. Doing this should not bring up any clashing files.
You will automatically have the rebels Galactic Conquest ready to play. If you wish to switch over to the empire, go to GameData -> data -> _lvl_pc and move custom_gc_7 into the newly made 'zzzGalactic Conquests' folder. Then move custom_gc_8 out of that folder and into the _lvl_pc folder.
YOU CANNOT HAVE BOTH IN THE GAME AT THE SAME TIME!!!

- Manual installation:
If when installing you do find any files that are trying to replace another, cancel the download. Most likely this is because you already have a custom galactic conquest using the same name. If you already have a file named custom_gc_7 or 8, create a folder called 'zzzGalactic Conquests' or something similar, then inside there another folder with the name of those Galactic Conquests, and move your gc files in there. You can then add my files in.
You're intelligent enough that I don't need to walk you through it step by step anymore than this. Just make sure the AGC folder is in your addon folder, and everything in the data folder provided is in your data folder.

As far as I know, you should not have any bugs or errors while playing this. However, I recommend saving after every round just in case the game crashes, as it often does with mods involved.
In future updates, I hope to be able to have multiple Galactic Conquests be available and selectable from the menu.
I am also hoping to be able to reskin the planets to give each of them a unique appearance.

No custom units I'm afraid, as it's not a map pack, it's just a galactic conquest using mod maps, and these have to be downloaded separately. Possibly one day I might get to make a full mod pack

I just installed this mod, but I'm having trouble getting it to work. The option shows up in the galactic conquest menu, but I can't click it (tried both with the mouse and with the enter key).
I have the 1.3 patch, both of the remaster installs from HarrisonFog and I have all the maps listed. I tested each map alone in instant action as I was installing them one by one and they all work. I also tried swapping between the rebel and empire file under GameData, the option in the menu changes, but I still can't click it.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi, sorry for only just relying. Sorry to hear you’re having problems too. Don’t know if you figured out what’s gone wrong, it sounds like you’ve done everything right.
Do you currently have any other custom GC on the list? If so these won’t work, you can only have one at a time, and not just each other (I’ve fixed this for the V2.0 update which will be coming soon)
Have you renamed the custom_gc files at all? Again, won’t work if you do.
Have you added the AGC folder to the addon folder?
Have you got Anakin’s remastered mod installed? I don’t think this will affect anything but I don’t have it installed so I haven’t tried it.
That’s everything I can think of off the top of my head. If you’re still having issues, let me know and we’ll try to figure it out.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have the Clone Wars Revised mod which adds the TV show clone wars to GC, I suppose that's what's clashing with it. What's even funnier is that in the past few days I installed a bunch of other mods and GC is now totally bricked for me LMAO (it crashes the moment I select any era). I have to figure out which mod(s) is / are causing the issue. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your V2 release though.
