Virtual Dreadnought is a TOS era single-player mod for Raven's Star Trek Voyager Elite Force. It allows the player to tour and explore fifteen decks of the Federation-class dreadnought USS Star League.

Description : A modification for EF single-player based on the original

Installation : IMPORTANT! YOU MUST HAVE THE ELITE FORCE EXPANSION PACK, MY
STARBASE 11 MOD, AND MY STARBASE 11 MOD UPDATE FOR THIS MOD
TO WORK.
Before unzipping, make sure you have downloaded all the
necessary files:
starleague_1.zip

starleague_3.zip
starleague_4.zip
Unzip each of these files onto your desktop. After unzipping,
you'll find a Virtual Dreadnought folder on your desktop with the
following contents:

starleague_2.pk3

Put the following files into your BaseEF folder inside the
Star Trek Voyager Elite Force folder:
starleague_1.pk3
starleague_2.pk3
starleague_3.pk3
starleague_4.pk3
Next, remove the following files from the Starbase11 folder
inside the Star Trek Voyager Elite Force folder and move them
into the BaseEF folder:
starbase11_1.pk3
starbase11_2.pk3
starbase11_3.pk3
starbase11_4.pk3
starbase11_5.pk3
starbase11_6.pk3
You should now have the following files in your BaseEF folder:
starleague_1.pk3
starleague_2.pk3
starleague_3.pk3
starleague_4.pk3
starbase11_1.pk3
starbase11_2.pk3
starbase11_3.pk3
starbase11_4.pk3
starbase11_5.pk3
starbase11_6.pk3
Please read the instruction manual before playing the mod. To
do so, open the Manual folder and double-click the index.html
file.
To play the Virtual Dreadnought mod, launch Elite Force the
way you normally do. On the menu screen, the Virtual Voyager
button will be replaced by a Virtual Dreadnought button. Click
this button to bring up the Virtual Dreadnought menu.
For best results, you should remove all other third-party pak
files from your BaseEF folder before launching the mod. Also, if
you haven't already done so, you should set com_hunkmegs to at
least 128. To do this, bring down the console and type:
set com_hunkmegs 128
Quit EF and relaunch it, then start the mod. If your computer has
more than 256 megs of ram, set com_hunkmegs to half the amount of
your computer's ram.
To restore the original Elite Force and Virtual Voyager, simply
remove the three starleague and six starbase11 paks from your
BaseEF folder.
Misc. : Thanks to Raven Software for this great game and the guys at iD
Software for the Quake 3 engine! Also, thanks to FishDS9 of
SpaceStation K7 (John Fischer) for extracting the Shakespearean
music from the DVD version of the episode "The Conscience of the
King" sans dialogue.
