In 1986, the world's worst nuclear disaster occurred at the Chernobyl power station. Soviet authorities established a 30km 'Exclusion Zone' around this nuclear wasteland, but in 2006 a second explosion rocked the stricken reactor, obliterating all living things and causing the Zone's boundaries to ripple outwards. From this epicenter came waves of mutated creatures, deadly radiation, and a strange, anomalous energy. The Zone was cordoned off by the military, who would shoot on sight anyone foolish enough to brave the horrors within.

I dont get it. I shoot the helicopter down at the bar and I try to go talk to barkeep and it loops me back into the front again? And there is still a circle on the map where the helicopter went down. It looks like it didn't recognize that i shot it down? Anyone else with same problem?
This worked for me with the helicopter. On transitioning to the bar, run down and help Duty kill the mutants. After a time a message pops up to shoot the helicopter down - DO NOT SHOOT THE HELI UNTIL THE MESSAGE! You should then get a message to see Voronin. Hope this works for you.
