In 1986, the world's worst nuclear disaster occurred at the Chernobyl power station. Soviet authorities established a 30km 'Exclusion Zone' around this nuclear wasteland, but in 2006 a second explosion rocked the stricken reactor, obliterating all living things and causing the Zone's boundaries to ripple outwards. From this epicenter came waves of mutated creatures, deadly radiation, and a strange, anomalous energy. The Zone was cordoned off by the military, who would shoot on sight anyone foolish enough to brave the horrors within.

i play this mod now,not bad at all,still havent seen the new locations,the guns are good,lots of new options and scopes,most of the new guns are useless tho since the recoil is way too high,you just cant hit a thing on full auto mode,i tweaked it down a bit and now its more managable,also i dont like female stalkers in the zone,im not gay,it just ruins the atmoshere of the game,not a fan of this,i wonder if this mod will take longer to complete than Narodnaya solyanka,lots of new zones,wonder how stable and populated they are,are you far into this mod?

If you tell me a specific weapon or 2 that it's missing from I can double check. But I already spawned about 300 weapons and addons before I uploaded it initially, they all had descriptions.
So I'm guessing either you installed it on top of SoC (new arsenal is standalone), or your unpacker didn't unpack the archives correctly. Try using 7-zip.

No, it's in his own folder and guns like the 1891/30, Benelli M3 and some others are missing, also some ammunition boxes but some are okay.

Then there was most likely an error when you installed it. Try unpacking with 7-zip and installing it again.

If you're using windows then make sure to unblock both archives by right clicking and then select properties. I would also start the game up once when it's still in russian then apply the english translation.

Thank you, will try that, because I did unpacked them using 7zip but the translations for some weapons are still missing, I did checked the files and are okay, the descriptions are there.

Hey there, everything is running perfectly on my side. One question though, when you reach Yantar and speak to Sakharov for the PSI-helmet, you get teleported into the cave level and then you have to find a "portable PSI-emitter"... any clue where to find it?

I'm curious about one other thing though. My stashes constantly run out of space when I try to place more items in them. Can this be edited in a way so that stashes have unlimited space again?

Ya served in the Army? Fire, run and change pose, use binoc, see where they are, fire at them, run to another cover, flank them, etc. They're very dogged (persistent) here, and are flanking. When on the move, use ravines and low ground to stay otta sight. As soon as ya got a new contact, see who it is. ENEMY? RUN BACK and take cover. Binoc them out, set ambush and good luck. If they see you, they will fire even from half a mile away. Probably hoping that they gonna get ya and yea, they do... If we're such jackasses to stay in the open. It's a shooting game, for Christsakes, so use cover! Do we ever play chess without the chessboard? No. Do we ever not use cover in a STALKER? No.

I have played mil sim before. So my issue is with dying instantly to 5.45 even with a merc outfit. Headshot? Fine. But even single torso shots instantly kill the actor while enemy military wearing worse protection can take up to 3 7.62x39.

Edit your merc suit, then:) So many of us do. But don't expect than your marked One will take more than a 3-4 hits of any cal. That ****** me off, too - but it teaches us to use cover more efficiently. It's STALKER.

ROFL, I don't use any chems in RL, and as for this "something strong", you got that right, I am on my will and dedication to play this as I want to. THAT's strong.
But I see why you think so - I forgot to say that, even if you mod the bullet resistance of your suit to a really high level and wear 3 Soul Artefacts (that's +3000 health) - don't expect than your marked One will take more than a 3 to 6 hits of any caliber in a row.
So...
Ya still have me for a Jethead? LOL:)

I was making a jest. I'm well aware of how to take cover and how to deal with the average Stalker A.I. However, most mods make things darker, crisper textures and denser grass etc that make it harder to spot targets. I also (usually) play without a mini-map, though this mod does have one active.

In short, I am not a stranger to dealing with lethal A.I. enemies. Its just a rude surprise to come from Anomaly or Call of Misery where even low level armor might let you scrape by and the real threat was bleeding out.

This reminds me of Arsenal Overhaul, where pretty much anything beyond a pistol shot is instant death even with the best armor. I should probably tinker with the immunities a little. I will certainly say this: unlike a lot of compilation mods I've tried, this one actually works and required no fiddling during installation to function. It runs reasonably well and looks good. I mostly have enjoyed the gunplay, just disappointed that fights were so tedious if I didn't have the absolute advantage.

Also some weirdness where the military A.I. would seemingly lose track of me if I ducked into a bush for five seconds and then laser locked on as soon as I left. Not sure how I feel about that.

Yesterday I understood that the Ivans (the Military, LOL), are much better shot than the bandits and WAYS MORE determined - even if there's only 1 - he goes for Marked One, as if they promissed him all the Vodka and hottest girls Ukraine has. That's one. Here's the two.

If they lose you, Ivans will STAY PUT, facing the direction they saw you last time. That's why they saw you when you stood up from that bush.

My advice:
As soon as you get an Ivan contact, or an Ivan starts to shoot at you (you can tell by their taunts it's them) and you don't know where he is, SPRINT behind something big enough to hide you from their view (a building, a hill - thanks Gawd, those are plentiful.) Then go around fast, flank them. Trust me, man, I saw them yesterday. I went to attack the Car Park (y'know, the first Sidor's mission). Now, when I was on that hill where you meet the Loners, I faced the Car Park and an Ivan shot at me from behind. I ran like crazy to the other side of the road and came around through the underpass. THEN I saw him advancing to where I was! I was directly flanking him. RATATATA! Dosvidanya, Ivan.

And also, if you don't kill him the first time, rather than leaning behind cover and do some OK Corall shooting, use the flank manoeuver again. AND...:) Do it so, as to clearly target your last pose:) He will come there. Ivan is a Grunt. He is a great shot, he does his tactics but - as Sidor says - he is also dumb.

Yea, and IVAN NEVER SPRINTS. Use that against those bloody sods.

If they lose the sight of you, all the AI I fought so far (Bandits, and Ivans) will stay put, facing the direction they saw you last.

BUT!!!

As soon as you fire at someone/something else,
BRO, THEY (THAT ENTIRE UNIT YOU FOUGHT) ARE GONNA COME FOR YOU EVEN IF YOU FIRE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT GUN!
Blyaaad. PIZDYETZ! (NO translation, you dig this one out yaself if interested).
How do they do that? Mebbe it's just that they KNOW it's not Duty or someone, but YOU. So, guess who they wanna hang upside down and bleed out till chalk-pale?

This mod is very, very interesting. I had some firefights and being cornered situations I don't remember having for a long time.
I tell you, guys, THIS is the mod you want! Or at least one of them.

Ok, so a few questions.
Is there a way to turn down the AI's spawns (I feel like the zone is a bit too filled with stalkers roaming around)
Where do I find this black box from one of the first sid's quests? (the one for armour) I've talked to the hunter-trader in the dead swamps but I can't seem to find anyone who even knows about these 2 stalkers he did mention.

I have accepted a quest in the psi helmet story-line, find an unusual jacket.
I get transported to the cave level, thats fine. I have enough medicine on the character to help the npc ex monolith out. Then he wants an interesting jacket.
No problem ... except the area on the map has a bunch of mutants, and a hole in between some rocks ... with no jacket. Anyone know where it is?

Thanks, I eventually figured it out, and you're right, there are two tunnels once you go inside the rocks. PS boars can climb ladders in this mod.
