Contains all files for the ST CoP Weapon Pack Version 3.1.08.
This includes the main STCoP Weapon Pack 3.1 mod as well as the 3.1.08 patch, the newest engine update, the AF3 compatibility patch as well as my english translation.

You will need to start a new game with this release. Pre 3.1 saves won't work!
This release took a while. The translation was actually done for about 2 weeks, but university takes it's toll. I hope you enjoy the new translation and the new mod version (thanks to Ga2z and Mortan for continuing their work!).
Order of installation:
- AtmosFear 3 (optional)
- Absolute Nature 4 (optional)
- Absolute Structures (optional)
- STCoP Weapon Pack 3.1
- STCoP Weapon Pack 3.1.08 Patch
- Delete the "bin" folder from the game folder,
delete the "shaders" folder from the "gamedata" folder and
delete the "shaders_cache" folder from the "_appdata_" folder
- Install Engine Upgrade to OpenXray Build 221 (32bit or 64bit)
- Install STCoP WP 3.1 + OpenXray build 221 AF3 adaptation (only if you use AtmosFear 3)
- Translation
DO NOT FORGET STEP 6, it's important that you delete those folders!
For the Engine Upgrade (Step 7), you can pick either the 64bit or the 32bit version.
The difference is that the 64bit version can use more memory, which means you are less likely to crash due to running out of memory.
However according to the mod authours the physics are more likely to bug out this way, though I personally haven't encountered any issues with that yet.
Just pick one version and install it. There is no sense in copying over both.
I am happy to report the Scope misalignment with the M4A1 and the AC Red Dot present in the previous version has been fixed :D

I generally keep the translation pretty true to the original. This release however I renamed one of the weapon entries. The AK-400 was called AK-12 in the russian release. Which means there were two AK-12 in the game. I took the liberty of renaming it to AK-400.

Sorry translating this version took so long. University takes much of my time right now and I got a lot of stuff going. But now it's finally done. ^^
As you may have noticed, there are a lot more installation steps this time around and I tested all options on a clean CoP install to make sure everything works. I didn't have any problems with or without AF3, with 32 or 64 bit Engine Upgrade. No crashes for me. If you think I missed some of the patches or files feel free to write a comment and I will look into it.
Thanks to IDAV0LL for keeping me up to date on all the small patches released on their forums! Btw. give the ingame options menu a look. With the new OpenXRay Engine change you also finally get working AA with dynamic lighting and a fov and grass density/lod slider! :D
P.s.: Debug spawn menu is still F1 in the main menu.

Open Xray performs really bad on my rig, like dropping into the low 30s for some reason while the vanilla runs great with this mod but crashes a lot. guess i'm out of luck on this one
Are you by any chance using the OpenGL renderer in the graphics options? OpenGL can have bad performance for some people, since it's only really meant for linux people in this release (according to Mortan). I personally had problems with it as well and just use the normal "Enhanced full dynamic lighting" renderer. So try switching the renderer around and see if that helps. My current installation doesn't use AF3, just the necessary parts of the installation and I get very good frames. Even with the grass viewdistance upped a bit. Hope this helped a bit. :)
Wow, as always an outstanding job! Really nice mod and excellent translation. Cheers! However there seems to be a very minor issue: CoP takes place in 2012, yet the description for the Ruger sr556 and the AK400 mentions them being from 2015-2016 respectively. Not a bleeding heart lore junkie myself, but perhaps a little *less* information could be beneficial in this case. Oh and my almost 10 yo craptop chrashes every time i approach the sawmill, but that's a problem regarding OXR methinks. The framerate is surprisingly good tho. Salutations!

Regarding the translation, yeah the mod doesn't take the year into account. I generally keep to the original mods descriptions, but there are a few weapons where I altered the translation to make it flow better or where I felt it wouldn't sound very good in english. So I personally wouldn't be opposed to altering the description. Though the weapons themselves are inherintly from the future (compared to the time the game is set in), so as long as they exist they are a "lore break" in and of themselves. But I'll think about altering the description. :)

Hello, is there any patch for the current missing textures? The majority of weapons has the same problem. Btw nice work on the translations and the devs for the modding, im having a blast playing CoP again. Im playing on the last version.

Regarding missing text. Did you copy over the contents of the translation folder into your game folder? Also is english your in game language?
Its in spanish dude, i guess thats the problem. I dont know how to change it to english by default.
That must be the culprit. Do you have the game on steam or is it a disc version? If it's on steam just right click the entry in your library, click on properties and then go to language. There you can select english as your new language. Steam will download the english files and switch the game language. Afterwards you will need to reinstall the mod and it should work.
If you own a disc version you can also copy the translation files into a different folder. Per default they are in \gamedata\configs\text\eng
If you place them in the spanish one it should work as too. I suspect the spanish folder will be called "esp" or "spa" or something similiar. It's in the \gamedata\configs\text folder.
Alright i will try it on my second run of the game, also one last question, the quest of cardan, the 2 dead friends, i already found barge but joker only have the helmet, the pda is missing, is there any patch to correct that glitch or spawn the PDA? Btw thank you man, i really apreciate the effort on the translations.
My lazy solution is to spawn the PDA with the addon's spawner, i believe it's in the miscellaneous section. you'll find the PDA when you see it
To open the spawner, load a save, open up the pause menu, then press F1 on your keyboard

Some of the collimator sights don't work on static lighting with the 32-bit engine upgrade, also using the 64-bit engine makes the character models and your hand model to glitch out (this might just be my computer) but otherwise the sights work using 64-bit (exceptions being the ekp sight and the sr-556's aimpoint)

Maybe, but I couldn't port it. You would have to contact the original developers and ask them or find somebody else who can. The newest version for CoC at the moment is the 2.8.0.7.

Would it be possible to make STCoP work with HUD Reworked and Extras 2.0 at all? Saw it had compatibility patches for AO, but sadly none for STCoP.
I do not have an appdata folder... strange. I have installed it from gog and the version is 1.602. Am i missing something?
Try starting the game once without the mod. It's been a while, but I think the folder might get created on first startup.

I got the majority translated already. Very busy with university right now, but if all goes well it should be ready by next monday evening.
Got a CTD after having a fight in the quest that Duty and Stalker have a deal at Ranger Station. Now the save before talking to the stalker is completely screwed.
