Call of Pripyat takes you once again into the vicinity of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor that exploded in 1986. It's probably on my end but I was playing on Medium settings and everytime I approached the controller's cave, my game would crash whenever I was attacked by a dog or any mutant.

I solved almost all the problems with frames by forcing the program to use the GPU, it might help you
how did you force the program to use the gpu? my 1070 ti only goes to like 40 percent on max settings with all these mods

Yeah, that's because Atmosfear 3 Blowouts don't equal original blowouts. I think the person behind the patch will have to figure out how to make these hooks get called during Blowouts and potentially psi-storms.
Yes, I'm not sure what's causing it thou, could be a script or the particles.xr or nano_hud. It's my first time making a compatibility patch and working with particles.xr so i'm focusing on the crashing part unless it's from Gunslinger mod. We'll wait and see if i can manage it :)

Some people are saying it does. I didn't test it so it could, i'm not sure.
i used AN3 Lite, it works. Note sure about AN4.
AN4 works, just don't be an idiot by copying over the Bin files that AN4 uses since Gunslinger has its own custom files.
Everything works just fine, besides PDA lost its cool blowout shutdown animation, just some small static during blowout.

You're possibly running out of memory. GUNSLINGER is still running on 32bit engine I believe.

Unfortunately if the game starts using more than 4gb of RAM it will always run out of memory, especially if you already ran the game and saved in an area with a lot of NPC's.
Same issue happened in Lost Alpha for example, where the HD Models author recommended not saving in between large amounts of NPC's because it would cause the save to no longer be able to be loaded.
Only thing I can recommend you is give up on that mod unfortunately.

EDIT: Lmao nvm, I fixed it by copying the particles.xr file from Atmosphere 3 into my Gunslinger gamedata folder.... for now.
I recommend just copying the particles.xr file from Atmosphere 3 into your Gunslinger gamedata folder, but DO NOT COPY over the original particles.xr from what you extracted from the DB files from the gunslinger mod when you use the database extractor or the DB Tool from Alundaio's AXR toolset.

Okay, Ichicrow, i've managed to fix this problem, the fix turned out to be PHARM 0.5 Atmosfear3 particles.xr compatibility problem, it would be very cool to see another of your patches that would fix gunslinger+atmosfear3+PHARM0.5 compatbility in the particles.xr file

Only crash i keep getting is during the acid rain. Already did the patch too; i can't seem to find a way around this though. Maybe antibiotics would work to pass through the weather phase?
