These are really minor patches that were bothering me personally.
Changed some icons, changed some text and icon placements, nothing too big.
Biggest change might be the vanilla style weapon upgrade icons.
Mix and match these fixes how you like.

NOTE: THE UI / HUD / TEXT FIXES ARE ONLY FOR 16:9 !!!! Icons are save to use for all aspect ratios

HUD IMPROVEMENTS:
- Slightly changed the position of the ammo counter texts, they were a bit offset originally.
- Originally minimap and HUD texture weren't aligned properly and you could see a gap between map and border. These were aligned properly.
- Same goes for visibility and noise meters. Redrawn to fit the size and aligned properly.
- I never understood why the minimap had so much space to the left, so I put it up into the upper left corner.
- Repositioned and resized all HUD indicator icons. A little smaller in size. Stacked neat and orderly to the right of the screen, just above HP-bar and ammo counter.
- Re-positioned some PDA texts. "Mutants killed:" wasn't aligned properly and was offset to the right.
- Fixed PDA scroll bar width. The horizontal scroll bar for the map was too narrow.
[OPTIONAL] HUD FOR MASTER DIFFICULTY:
- Install this AFTER "HUD IMPROVEMENTS"!
- ONLY install this if you are using Master difficulty!!
- This is merely to be able to see the indicators when opening your inventory.
FIXED ICONS:
- New tourists delight icon respecting the world model height.
- New tourists delight texture. No longer has a red label but is just a metal can like in the vanilla game.
- New Vodka Icons. All got the label, you can still see the amount left.
It was just bothering me that if you use vodka once you basically tear the label off. Didn't make sense to me.
- Changed some suit icons to better match the general style.
- Changed some suit upgrade textures to match the new suit icons.
- Changed brown bandit icon and grid size from 2x3 to 2x2 just like its black counterpart.
- Repositioned "favourite weapon" icon for knive. Originally you had the barrel of another gun clipping into the icon. (Can be seen in PDA when you start a new game and look at your statistics)
- Changed the icons for 7.62x25 TT, 5.7x28 FN, .50 AE, 9x21 SP-10 & 12x76 Slug to better fit the artstyle of the game and respect the world models.
- 12x76 Slug icons were taken from "[Gunslinger] Blue Slug Shell Icons" by HellblaueHoelle. Thanks!

VANILLA STYLE UPGRADE ICONS:
I couldn't stand the gunslinger upgrade icons, they're just too clean and didn't fit the artstyle of the game in my opinion. So I changed all the 700 or sth. upgrade icons to fit the vanilla artstyle. All match the respective properties.
CONTROLLER NERF:
Reduced hearing and vision distance for Controllers.
Because I remember running around near Yanov-Station and being spotted like 5 billion kilometers away from a controller with barely any chance to escape.
I really don't know if it works at all, haha :D
ATMOSFEAR FPS BOOST:
For those of you playing with Atmosfear:
I just changed the vision and fog distance. You might be able to save some FPS.
- One version with 500 vision distance
- One version with 350 (vanilla) vision distance
MORE HARDCORE START:
I like progression, so this is for you guys out there who like this as well. Now you only start with 500 RU, Novice jacket, a Makarov and less supplies.
SMALLER CROSSHAIR:
Pretty much self explanatory.
SLOWER SPRINT SPEED:
Dislike the insane sprint speed of Gunslinger? I lowered the sprint speed from 100 to 75 (Like in ShoC) - still fast as hell, but not quite "Deja-Vu".

this is great!!! the clipping and offset texts were bugging me too...also that controller in yanov thing can be great too. any way you can fix some stash locations? the one in zaton south of the crashed helicopter in the marshes, west of the tunnel exiting bloodsucker lair, does not count as collected even after collecting everything.

there are stuff above the tree still. Throw a barrel grenade and they will fall and you will be able to gather them

I think that requires re-compiling the Gunslinger EXE, it's not a matter of modifying .xml or other files, the fact that there is no HUD in master difficulty is encrypted in the EXE, no one has bothered to do that, so it doesn't exist.
If it would be interesting, at least, to be able to see the life, ammo and states acquired by the player (radiation, chemical damage, etc) in master mode, just that, something minimal, but as I said, it requires to recompile the EXE, so it's complicated.
now i hated the monkey face looking reflection on the face glass of the scientific suits (except the duty seva/psz-9d) in ui_icon_equipment and replaced all of them with the reflection from the duty seva
Greetings, thanks for this mod! 'HUD FOR MASTER DIFFICULTY' seems to not be working for latest version of Gunslinger (via updater .exe) as of 8th Jan 2023, at least for me. Put in the files for it the very last (to make sure it hasn't be overwritten) - and my Master still has got zero hud. Tried switching in and out of Master too, to no avail.
In order for the HUD to work you first have to install 'HUD IMPROVEMENTS' then the master HUD option. The HUD will still only be shown when opening the inventory though.
But I'll check if there was a gunslinger update.
Yes, did make sure to install HUD Improvements first. Oops! Sorry, I missed the bit where the Master HUD is indeed meant to show up only when inventory is opened; Thought it was a permanent up-time post-patch.
Something else on that note: The item counters for the bottom-left F1-F4 hotkeys don't seem to be present. There's a screenshot for it on this page, thought it's not mentioned as a change under the description for 'HUD IMPROVEMENTS'. Is it meant to be working?

I looked into it and only installed HUD IMPROVEMENTS + HARDCORE and the bottom left F1-F4 item counters are present for me and work as they should - keep in mind the only show up when you open your inventory though.
I see, I must've misunderstood just how much is meant to be visible on Hardcore outside inventory. Anyhow, I really enjoyed my playthrough of CoP with Gunslinger paired with your enhancements. Thank you very much, appreciate the work!

how do you install the more hardcore patch? where am I supposed to put it?
put the "gamedata" folder into the folder where gunslinger is installed and start a new game.
I know that, but the XML is not in a gamedata folder, it's just on its own, so I dont know where to put it

how do i install the hud for master and the slower actor?
- Make a "gamedata" folder in your gunslinger folder
- copy and paste "HUD IMPROVEMENTS" to that folder
- then copy "HUD FOR MASTER" to that folder and overwrite
- same for slower actor
HUD for master doesn't mean that you have a full HUD when choosing that difficulty. I simply adapted my HUD changes to the master HUD. It will still only show up, when you open your inventory.
