Contract for a Bad Life - Butterfly Effect addon - S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

Instructions:

1. Install a clean original CoP and patch it to 1.6.02

2. Make a backup of the bin folder and the fsgame.ltx of the original game

3. Copy the files from the archive into the CoP main directory (savegames, logs, etc. are stored in the folder 'userdata' after the first start of the game)

4. Run the 'Stalker-COP.exe' in the main directory

5. If you want to delete the mod: remove the gamedata folder, the bin folder and 'fsgame.ltx' and add the original bin folder and 'fsgame.ltx' back to the main directory

(Both published fixes are already integrated and there should be no serious bugs. If there are any unexpected bugs, please contact me.)

Hand translated mod for "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Call of Pripyat". It is a short story mod on a new unique map and it's perfect for playing through in one evening. The mod is so to speak an addon to "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Contract for a Good Life" from the v.i.v.i.e.n.t.-Team. These are also the developers of the "Gott Mit Uns" and "White Squad" mods. Because this mod here is quite small and could be translated very fast, I release it first. "Contract for a Good Life" and "White Squad" will follow in the future. "Gott Mit Uns" has already received a machine translation and to my knowledge, other comrades are already working on a hand translation.

I have replaced two music tracks (main menu and credits). If you don't like that, just copy the two tracks from "\gamedata\sounds\music\mod original" and overwrite my tracks with them.

Short Briefing: You're playing as Karp. Member of a mercenary squad. You were investigating a tunnel with your comrade Frowny until something very strange happened... You can play this addon without knowing the main story. You might have questions afterwards and maybe they will be answered soon on "Contract for a Good Life"...
