Hi I present the evolution of a prototype from a game jam 2021 after the COVID crisis.
The game is a TPS space survivor in a chaotic environment with Rogue lite components.
Physics play a central role in the layout of the elements, which are all more or less interactive.
The aim of the game at the start is to survive and explore in order to uncrypt the objectives (green and turquoise trails) found on the crew's bodies.The objectives are tests to be completed in order to obtain alternative endings.
!!spoiler!! Destroy the Space Kraken from the inside
- in single combat for the sacrifice ending (bad ending)
-run the nuclear core to the center and escape in less than 30sec (good ending)

White box on crew members: Objective decoders
Features:
- Fist attacks expel debris more or less forcefully
- Charged attacks create an energy shield
- shield freezes enemies, then explodes
- bullets increase the power of the shield explosion
- crew can metamorphose if too many enemies collide with them
- 10 secondary weapons
- 20 stats, turret and weapon upgrades
- increase speed 1 in black swarm zones
I still have many doubts and questions about the continuation of this project that I would like to develop (new enemies, more dungeon rooms and one teaser of another biome).
