Built in the top down, artistic style of classic Infinity Engine games, but with a modern framework and full perspective 3D camera. A real time, tactical RPG like no other. With a dialogue driven story like you've come to expect of a true CRPG, and a class-less, level-less system where progression comes from how you choose to play. Can a game be built to match the quality and vision of an investment based, for-profit endeavor, and have the community focused ideals of an open source project? Shattered Time is being built from the ground up to be easily modifiable and accessible to the community of independent game developers and modders. Shattered Time promises to be more than just a great game, but also a framework for more games, expansions and modules to be built by anyone with an interest in game design.

Hi and nice work on Shattered Time, the preview video looks great.
Could you precise what you mean with "open source" though? As far as I know the Unity3D engine is proprietary, so do you mean that your game-specific code will be under an open source license (e.g. GPLv3), but one will need Unity3D to compile it?
