Rush Stop is about the adventures of a little kid on their tumultuous journey to catch the bus on time. A rather simple premise, but the obstacles on this kid’s way will make it challenging to reach the bus on time.

In this week's post, we'll take a look at the state of the game as we approach our final deadline for the production of the game!

Hi everyone!

This week, we have a little sneak peek into the final stages of the actual game production, regarding the game design aspect of the game, the art aspect of the game and the programming aspect of the game.

First, let's take a look at our most recent evolution regarding game design.

Pictured - this is a sketch made by our game designer showing a concept of our first level.


Currently, the game designer is working on sound design and trying to make a simple song to play throughout the game.

Furthermore, there will be time invested in working on an actual product page for the game until the release date (it will be soon for sure).

Let's now take a look at files provided by our artist to showcase the state of the game's art assets.

The rest of the art assets still need to be provided by the artist in order to implement them in the game build.

And finally, let's take a look at the state of the build.

We still need to work on refining the timer showed on top of the screen and also on the winning and losing screens.

There's still work to do ahead, but we are reaching the very end of the deadline for this project. The team is trying their best to deliver a good game and also a good experience to the player.
