No one can ascertain the current Earth year (or if there is still Earth at all), so we start the count from Vostorg-7 year 0. This year marked the arrival of a joint Russian-Chinese colonization probe on Vostorg-7, a probe dispatched a very long time ago - in the early 21st century of Earth. After a long interstellar odyssey, it finally reached the unforgiving yet potentially habitable planet. The initial dreams of forging a unified spaceborne human nation were soon abandoned, as differing visions for utopian societies took root. Instead, seven independent human colonies emerged from the cosmic dust. While most of these colonies succumbed to rapid deterioration, with their inhabitants mutating into otherworldly beings or descending into feral lifestyles amidst Vostorg-7's unforgiving terrain, two colonies stood out as bastions of Man’s determination - the Derzhava and the Planet Cult.
not a big time has passed since Tom devised a new one
I choose B1
Honestly, I preferred the no-nonsense oversized bricks on the last pic. At least as far as battlefield facilities are concerned.
Sure, it looks pretty, buuut...well, a Grad a day keeps the enemies' shiny industrial machine at bay.
I agree, but it appears they've not disregarded our input: if you pay close attention these variants are similar to A2 and B2 of the last pic, they've just added a tower. But, to me, it makes these ones look more like a Command Centre.
Thanks for noting. I commonly only do a quick glance at first. I guess adding in the foundation(?) makes them look smaller.
Though, I do wonder what's in that tank-like structure in most versions. If it's just a fuel/oil tank, it might actually make sense to keep it outside the structure.
But if it's a power source...though, that would make little sense unless at least this faction dispenses with power plants.
Then again, now that I've managed to get the full size version loaded, the armoured ventilation systems and a (presumably) administrative/semi-residential(techies need beds too, right?) structure built around them would make life less fun for any would-be visitors, right?
Summary; not as bad as I though, external fuel tank is a nice touch, as are the armoured windows at B2.
At this point, I think it mostly depends whether the devs want to channel Company of Heroes' Wehrmacht, or mix it with Generals' USA for this. Or they could start with one, and upgrade it to the second, I guess.
Also, why can't I keep my **** short?
A2. Seems more "bunkered down" and practical to me, but I'm not sure if that's what you're aiming for with the European faction. If you're aiming for pure futurism, I say go with the most flash, A1 or B1.
B1.
B2. A1 looks cool too.
All of them.
You surely made it easier for them...
B1 for me.
Truth be told they are all really similar, and also look quite good.
I liked previous 4 ones...
This ones more like lab or smth...
B2
B2, new designs are much better, a game where we have a faction using trikes and attack buses realism is out of place
also, visual appeal of black bricks was nonexistent, this instead still looks in style with the faction, but much more pleasant to look at
A2/B2
A1 or B2
A2. Nothing too fancy, looks nice and sturdy.
Somehow reminds me a bit of Nod Architecture, i'd prefer B1
B1
I prefer to other set of designs, but out of these i prefer B2.
why not one of each and have it be random which one you build? :P
