Story

You are a hard working space janitor whose job entails removing space junk and small debris with a low powered disintegration ray. While performing your regular duties (keeping space neat and tidy) you encounter large wreckage which seems recent and appears to belong to a vast exploration starship. Realizing there are survivors you attempt to send an emergency help signal but you are too remote from even the nearest refueling station, by the time the signal is received it will be too late. The life support systems built into the spacesuits of these survivors will begin to fail soon if not already.

It is up to you to rescue these astronauts, supplied with only your junk zapper and a meager amount of auxiliary power! You'd better act quickly, whatever terrible force caused this destruction could return at any moment, or perhaps it already lurks just beyond your sensor readings.

Description

Roboatak is an arcade-like action shooter using a line (or vector) graphics style inspired by games like Asteroids. The objective is to rescue as many astronauts as possible, while repelling the attacks of evil robots and collecting stuff.
