RIZN is a third person zombie shooter and survival game in which the player starts off already infected and must fight to find a cure.
As promised, here is a near 30-minute video of RIZN gameplay. I've kept zombie counts down for this clip and there's a short break when I wait for zombies to spawn in the second quarantine zone; spawning this second batch of zombies will happen over the course of a few frames in the future, after I've implemented a pooling system.
Awesome, doesn't matter how many times i see heads explode it still is crazy fun! Just wondering, did see it before, those small red explosive barrels. I see that you need to fire at them quite extensively before they explode. Each time I see it I feel that this is maybe not as fun as when they would explode more quickly. May I ask why you did decide that you need to fire at them for so long?

HP for barrels is easy to adjust, I like the high HP for the small propane tanks since you can really get them moving towards a crowd if need be. Barrels can probably come down a bit but I have been playing around with a second ammo for each weapon - a more high-powered alternative that the player can switch to which knocks helmets off quicker, blows up barrels quicker, etc. It may not make the cut though, I sometimes find it cumbersome, but you can see in the inventory screen that each has two types listed, I just didn't include them in loots yet. I'll focus more and more on balancing things out as I get closer to the demo release.
I indeed notice that you made the barrels move towards the zombies by firing at them, which is a good option. And maybe it is a bit much to have 2 different alternative ammo for each weapon, but maybe it would be fun to have it for 1 or 2 weapons. Because that way you can indeed as you said shoot off helmets quicker, or make those barrels explode easier.
Am looking forward to the demo, but just take your time.
