Recruits - 2012 Updates and New Website news

Its has been pretty busy here around Christmas and new years, we have been working on a lot of important core game play recently.

Over the next few weeks, expect to see a lot more updates, but for now we have the opening of our new site design.Check it out, let us know what you think and keep in mind we will be adding site content all the time until its fully up and running.

Progress:

There has not been to many updates over the new year, we have been testing and making sure that we are heading in the right direction with Recruits. Things like the website and nutting out some Core Gameplay Mechanics have got in the way of Art, but rest assured, we are back into the swing of things now.

Here is a WIP updates of the Ammo Supply drop that is able to be called mid mission if you have enough kill points. This ammo crate will allow you to replenish your stores mid mission if you are unable to find any ammunition through out the level. There will other types of abilities including Medical Supplies, Napalm, Airstrikes, Mortar Strikes and much more.

One of our modellers, Dan, is also working on a M48 Patton Tank, which will be drivable in game. You would control the tank the same was as you would a character, Keyboard to move (rotate tank and drive forwards and backwards, and mouse to rotate the turret). This will add some interesting gameplay to our primarily squad/infantry based mechanics once you encounter an enemy tank in singleplayer, or another player driving a tank in multiplayer. TANK BATTLES!!!
