An homage to the classic adventure games and RPGs of the 80s and 90s, Quest for Infamy provides an old familiar experience with modern touches. Backgrounds and animations have been lovingly created by painting them by hand - and using pixel art to animate the characters. Gain experience and advance levels in three different character classes, and explore over 200 locations. Many NPCs to interact with, side-quests, hidden secrets, wealth, women and wildly off-beat jokes await!
We've been working on our first update to Quest For Infamy, in a version we've been dubbing QFI v1.1 - this not only fixes some minor bugs found, but it also adds back in some content that was cut before release! We will have more news about the update as it nears release!
We're also working on "The Quest For Infamy Companion" which is an ArtBook/Hint Guide for QFI - we'll not only have behind the scenes artwork from the development of the game, but also hints, maps, tips and tricks. Everything you ever wanted to know about Quest For Infamy (but were too afraid to ask!)

I'm ready to buy it. Thanks to Slash for showing it to me.
It Would Be Nice If There's Humor Included! Just Like Other Adventure Games! :3
No comments? This looks awesome. Reminds me of the old Quest for Glory, with the fighting tossed into the adventure game concept.
Hey man - thanks! We're working really hard on this right now. I'm usually around if you ever have any questions about things!

Yep! You've got it exactly right.
It's an adventure/RPG hybrid, and very much a loving homage to Quest for Glory. In this case, though, you get to play an opportunistic & ambitious rogue out for himself, rather than a hero.
Don't worry about the lack of comments, we're still pulling things together here, and really haven't marketed the IndieDB page much, other than a couple of tweets on Twitter and a Facebook post.
There's a free demo here that you might have fun playing!
Hey there! My name is Steve, otherwise known by the groovy handle of "Blackthorne" or just "Bt". I hope you all try the demo - if you're a fan of old school adventure games, this game might be right up your alley! You can download the demo right here! I'm the producer/director/writer on this project, and I'm always happy to answer any questions you might have. You can ask them right here and I'll do my best to answer them. Thanks again, everyone who supports us.

hi Blackthorne. Is it still possible to be a hero if you want? :)
Haha, yeah, it just depends on your definition of hero, heh. Let's just say that you have options on how you play Mr. Roehm. You can do more knavish things, and you can also do more less knavish things. You really are a true neutral in this game - in the end, Mr. Roehm is concerned with his own prosperity, safety and well being. How you achieve that is up to you!
