Sewer levels are notoriously hard to get right. That’s why Andrew Yoder set out to challenge the Quake community to come up with good sewer levels all the way back in 2019. We wanted to do the same for the Quake 2 Remaster and that resulted in this package. Featuring nine new maps, a hub level and pre-rendered cutscenes. We hope you enjoy Map-Center’s Quake 2 Sewer Jam Volume 1.
The Jam ran from February 2nd to March 10th and was hosted on our Discord server (https://discord.gg/vSvqwys5hB). It had the following requirements:
Textures: Quake 2 Remaster textures only, no custom textures and skyboxes allowed.
Design: your map must have tunnels, slime, water and at least 1 open combat arena.
SFX: custom music and sounds effects are allowed
Objectives: your map must have at least 1 secret, 1 primary objective and 1 secondary objective. Specifics: the target_changelevel within your map must point to "sewerjam1_start" with spawnflag 56. Your map file should be named sewerjam1_name (for example, mine would be sewerjam1_shartuterie) and your map must have an in-game name set in the "message" worldspawn key. Nav mapping is encouraged but not required.

Great stuff everyone!
Brilliant work here across the board!

Never mind. You have to empty the contents of the sewerjam1 folder into baseq2. Do not use the sewerjam1 folder.
Fantastic work from everyone involved!
To install the mod, copy the contents of the sewerjam1 folder (not the folder itself!) along the path indicated above (in the Description).
Do not install this into baseq2 if you plan on also using the N64 Jam. Doom-Shakalaka reused the filenames for his audio track (track39) and video intro (doom.ogv), so if you have both jams in the same folder you'll have to pick and choose.
Put this into another folder, such as sewerjam1, and switch to it with "game sewerjam1" in the console (or the launch options, but console is easier).
Correction: This fixes the video issue, but does not fix the music issue. You still have to put the music into baseq2, overwriting what's already there.
We've uploaded a new version which fixes all these problems.
Dooms music track so it wont conflict with n64jam
Updated map json file with proper levels select
Moved videos into a subfolder so they cant conflict with previous jams
Thank you, everyone who participated for your efforts!
So much fun, thanks to everyone who worked on this!
This is great. I wish Civvie 11 would do a review. We all know how much he loves a sewer maps, lmao. But, this might change his tune.
