Sometime in the near future, humanity has realized that resources are far too critical to be squandered. People are dying by the millions. The solution. Create a system of robotic-controlled facilities that will keep supplies running for those who remain alive. This works until the A.I.'s controlling the system go rogue. You play the part of a PROXY pilot who must put a stop to the madness. PROXY is a 2D action arcade adventure game, where you navigate through randomized rogue-like levels, power up, collect, and destroy your enemies in the name of saving ( or not) humanity!
Destroying enemy drones and sometimes the various devices and obstacles around the level will yield objects you can pick up. These power ups can heal your Health, Energy or Shields. Scrap pickups are used to manufacture new missiles. Stat power ups go towards improving your nine stats (seen on the right. White dot is your current stat, white with a black dot in middle is the number of improvements on the stat to level it up. Fill up the white dots with black dots and your stat will improve). Lastly, there are devices and gadgets you can collect that have various uses either passively or activated by you.
