Pixel Piracy is a side-scrolling 2d, real time strategy/sandbox/simulation game created by indie developer Vitali Kirpu and produced by Alexander Poysky.
In the game, the player leads the life of a pirate captain. Recruit a crew, outfit and customize your ship and set sail on the open seas. There you’ll use any combination of aggression, diversion and trade to become the most infamous pirate crew of the seven seas! You can raid, pillage and plunder everything in your path, divert and lie to get what you want or trade for a quick buck. Remember to be careful though, death is everywhere and quite permanent! Adventure awaits…

Hello there everyone! It's been a crazy week!
We wanted to thank you all for being so patient with this update, getting up on Steam was hectic, to say the least, and we had to skip an update to make everything fully compatible. Without any further delay I give you patch 0.41
Content & Improvements
- New Weapons: Stilletto, Trident, Long Sword and Katana
- Added some new Hair Styles and Faces
- Added new class Doctor
- Made more fighting space to the enemy ships
- You can pay salary to captain
- Some balancing done
- Your pirates wont be attacked right away when boarding enemy ships!
- Game Auto Saves game when you set sail somewhere!
- Added Experimental SIDE bonuses to weapons that dont work yet
- New Items: Ginger Beard, Brown Beard, Rosary and Plate Armor
- New Perks: Old, Seasick, Hairy, Paralysis, Anorexia, Maniac, Gunslinger, Nimble,Assassin
- Improved battle system, fight should be more action packed
- Grind Stone has now 100% upgrade chance (even though it still shows % still... sigh)
- All secondary weapon effects now work
Bug Fixes & Feedback
- Fixed bug where pirate sometimes didnt want to grapple properly.
- Fixed bug where crabs started attack everyone once fight erupted
Some Info on perks:
Avenger = if your team mates dies avengers attack speed increases
Assassin = Increased critical strike
Nimble = Increases dodge chance
Gunslinger = Starts with a pistol and can preserve ammo sometimes
Maniac = If attacked might start rampage while loosing morale fast
Paralysis = Might become paralyzed sometimes
Anorexia = Doesn't eat much
Hairy = Might drop beard when killed, attackers attack speed decreases when attacking hairy pirate.
Seasick = Loses hitpoints when on boat
Old = Might die any moment
