Pioneers will be a turn-based game with RPG elements. It's a game where you start by assembling your exploration party with men with different abilities and skills. Every man counts and every skill counts. You need someone who's good with weapons and hunting, someone who is good with carpentry, someone who can draw maps, someone who could easily learn native languages and so on. Once that's done, you put them on a ship and head for some unknown land.
This version adds an overworld and some simple sailing mechanics among other things.

Is this intended? The screen with the shop perhaps is, but I cant imagine that I'm supposed to see nothing while sailing
using w7 64bit with 8GB RAM and a ATI radeon HD5700 series should the info be relevant
Oh and perhaps its important to know that I have not completed the first quest yet at this point.
Please see this forum thread for solution: Eigen.pri.ee
Thanks a lot, will try doing that :)
Hello, is this game still available? There aren't any actual mirrors so I can't download this game and try, looks amazing!
Thank you :)
Isn't there a red download button? Hmm, strange. Then you can download it directly from the game's website here: Eigen.pri.ee
The link is also in the Profile section in the top-right corner of this page.
My ship is stuck in one place. Controlling it as a mystery for newcomer.
Edit: ok, 15 minutes later, my ship moved :P
After next 15 minutes I sailed... and sailed... and nothing happened. Imho game should maybe communicate more where I can find any new land and where probably not to sail?
Besides that game look interesting (reminds me SM's Colonizaiton)
After another next 15 minutes my sailors run out of food (morale was still excellent :)) still found no land... and then most exciting event - game crushed :D
After playing some more today I just can't wait to be able to craft and build things! Learning curve isn't there yet but game has real interesting potential.
PS: iPad version <3
Best,
Andrew
Hehee :D Yes, these are known problems in this build and have been worked out in the new version that's coming in a few days I hope. The game now clearly indicates when you find new land and where to head to see it. Previously the range was very small but if you (try to) go east from the town as straight as possible you're bound to find it (dist: ~11-12 nmi.). Thank you for the comments :)
