Description
That's one of the formerly secret spawns. This is the second I found ever and its surprisingly close to the surface. I didn't do anything to expose it. The other one I've found was way deep into the caves.
I don't know what treasures it'll hold yet but I'll report once I do.
You found a spider dungeon =D
do what i did, drop a tnt in there and watch the fireworks!
News:
The Diamond Pickaxe cannot salvage the spawn block anymore.
The 1 box contained:
-1 Bucket
-2 Bread
-3 Wheat
-1 Piece of string
This is similar to the last spawn I found, back when it was introduced.
Also this surface opening looked like a lucky accident, there was an opening which led to a tiny cave if it could count as one.

If anyone ever finds something other than the stuff I found let me know. Notch probably did it solely as a proof of concept kind of thing but I'd still like to know about the variety of it.
someone legitly found a golden apple once.
I got a saddle in a different one
there are also regular apples, records (two types), and I got some gunpowder in one (not a creeper dungeon)
I've found the following:
Wheat
Saddle
Iron Ingots
Buckets
Redstone
String
Gold Ingots
Bread
There's bound to be things I haven't seen yet. (Such as records)
Is there a way to carry the spawner ?
I hate to destroy or light it out i wanna carry it :(
