Journey into the gritty and not particularly pleasant world of Max Payne. This third person action game features a strong storyline and an altogether interesting antihero. Max Payne is a gritty journey to the present day New York City during the worst winter blizzard in a century. The thriller pulp story keeps the players guessing right on till the end. The game shoots from the lowest slum pits to the greatest skyscraper heights, leaving behind a trail of corpses, splatters of blood, and empty brass rolling on the floor.

Want to relive your memories with the most iconic game known to existence but better?! You're in luck. This is my take on the HD Mod for Max Payne 1. I went through upscaling a lot of the texture files, incorporated some of the other addons from Moddb & Nexus mods. I kept this mostly to myself and then slowly distributed to a few people who also admire this game. So now I've decided to share it with all of you people. Enjoy!

Almost works but it's not really compatible with RTX Remix mod, blood decals turn out to be transparent, much of the HUD doesn't shows at all, main menu background doesn't always show, graphic novels content and menu isn't visible at all.
I don't think you should have this with RTX Remix mod. Only works when you have the clean vanilla install of the game along with the fixes to get the game running properly. Files might be conflicting with each other. You just drag and drop the data folder into the Max Payne folder.
