Hey, I am back. So I have been busy these last few years, I've completed a Cert 3 in Game Development and I've been trying to make a good story for this SCP game. I've decided to go back to basics, return back to the Source 2 era of the game but this time using Unreal Engine 5 and a brand new story.
What is that story I hear you ask, well I would like to introduce the MAKSUR PROJECT
The idea for the MAKSUR PROJECT came from playing the Dead Space 2023 remake that released 79 days since the publishing of this blog, but I wanted to see if SCP: Containment Breach would work with the Dead Space camera style and mechanics.
Of course it did, and quite well then I first expected. So I decided to expand on the idea which is what lead to this blog post here.
Now as far as the story of the game goes all I can confirm is that, you are an engineer, you have been promoted to ARC Site-26, SCP-939 is in the game with new and rework mechanics, there is a containment breach and there is a mole in the Foundation.
The rest of the story will be shared of time and when the game is released.
Other than that there isn't much to talk about, but if you do have questions please do ask me and do try to join the Discord if you can so you can get sneak peeks, otherwise just keep an eye on Twitter or Gamejolt as that is where most of the updates will be.
