In July of 2012 we had an invite-only mixer for single retro games, kind of like a speed-dating thing. Most of the games invited were still getting over some rather nasty divorce or separation issues. It was a nice learning experience (Dear Lord does Custer's Revenge have baggage), but it turned out to be something of a bust.
For the most part.
As it turns out, two of the guests, Space Invaders and Columns, were destined for each other. Fast forward to June 2013 and their first child is born. Much rejoicing and alcohol was had. The baby was hence christened Invasodado.
So all right, you've got the usual Earth defense routine, what with the space ship and the aliens and the always-imminent death. But, here's the fun part: aliens don't just disappear! No, apparently, these guys turn into colored blocks for some reason. Things will get messy pretty quickly, but thankfully you're allowed to clear these blocks! Just remember, you have to do both at the same time, and the aliens get faster and faster as the game goes on.
And now, the moment you haven't been waiting for: Invasodado!

Says it's available for Linux, but it isn't downloading because it "isn't available for this platform".
That's odd. What distro, and 32-bit or 64-bit?
I'm using Linux Mint Cinnamon 14 32-bit. I can download and play every other game for Linux here; this is the only one giving me that error.
As a side note, I do not see the game listed on Desura along with the others except in the header with the buttons.
Are other games categorized as "Linux" or as "Linux64"? Because we haven't yet released a 32-bit Linux version of Invasodado.
looks like fun
Did it turn out to be?
