Hey everyone, it's been a while! I think after about 3 weeks an update is quite past due, so let me explain some different things that are going on with regards to the game:
1. Personal life has been quite... interesting lately, and causing some major setbacks just in terms of the time I'm able to spend on the game.
2. AI. Artificial Intelligence. I've had to do some back-tracking in terms of my own knowledge and ability to start gaining the skills necessary to create believable AI. It's not exactly a walk in the park if you want something that will actually scare people. Trying to get a little more complicated than our good friend Slender Man, you see :P
3. Stress. Just in general. I'm not going to sacrifice my creativity to get the game released sooner, no one would even know the game existed had I not started posting on ModDB anyway. 8 hours straight of work on the game every day for over a month had its toll on me, so I've started creating salt circles in my room and burning incense whilst muttering incantations in order to relax myself.
That last part was actually a joke btw... seriously though, I'm taking things in smaller doses. Right now it's got to be AI all the way, because that's the one hugely important thing I have to make sure I can do properly before I make the entire rest of the game and realize I haven't put any enemies in the game at all :P
Sorry about the delay on updating everyone, like I've said in earlier posts, I don't plan on just giving up on the game, it will be finished... someday lol... thanks as always for watching/supporting! :D
