We've created a longplay video of Hyphen and uploaded it to YouTube. We get a lot of people claiming that certain parts of the game aren't possible when they get stuck, so we've proved they are by playing the whole game through in one go! It's pretty much like a tutorial/walkthrough for those who get stuck!
The video is a couple of hours long which we feel really showcases the amount of game you're actually getting for £3.99 - especially when you consider it was played by one of the developers. The average player would spend a lot longer playing the game!

What a brilliant game. The colourful style, the catchy music, the competitive game play - this game has everything you need.

Kuru Kuru Kururin anyone? Not complaining though, I loved that game.
Although Hyphen has a spinning stick in it, the gameplay differs quite a lot from that in Kuru Kuru Kururin. We have insta death for starters, no lives and health restoration and the focus is mainly on the difficulty. There's no messing around with storylines and cutesy characters, we've made this game to be a challenge. There are a lot of games with a spinning stick mechanic like this and all of them are actually based on an old japanese carnival game called Kururin, the idea of a spinning stick isn't exclusive to Kuru Kuru Kururin. That said if you did enjoy Kuru Kuru Kururin then Hyphen is definitely worth a download and play to see for yourself.
