Just a suggestion, lift the lamp a little higher, it looks very dumb just placed in the middle, not getting the real profit of the light, also, are the drawers in the upper part of the cabinet neccesary?
I wouldn't say that it looks dumb? But you are right in saying that the light would reach the top of the compass better if it is positioned higher. The drawers give a nice effect to be honest, good place to store something like a map or a sextant or a spyglass etc. But I must say great work Captain! I am really impressed by your quick updates! Keep it up!
ok, you convinced me, i was asking just because there's a lot of unused space between them, and normally all the wood things in my house have the space between drawers very small :)
Normally I would tend to agree, but this is modeled after a real one from the correct period. The lamp position, drawers, etc are all to scale to the real one. I am sure there will be plenty of them in the game that you can accessorize your ship with by the time we release a playable demo!
That looks pretty massive for any binnacle, even on a ship of the line. Is it to scale yet?
