That's the spirit ^^

You can also do trade and stuff in the game though, in case you wonder what else there is ;)

Hey devs, just wondering... are you going to add a "sandbox" mode for game? I mean, like an empty map, only with water, where you can place ships and make them blow in pieces everywhere.

Shortly after the tech demo is ready we will have something like this in the first release. You will be able to place ships something like an open world battle. It will incorporate some of the features of the 'shipyard' in the towns as well as be a testing ground for battle mechanics.

I'm just fascinated by how focused everyone is on blowing the ships up ^^. Personally, I really like the trade and exploration in the game.

I personally like the commerce-raiding. It's so much more productive than blowing things up...

This highly successful class of French Frigate became the standard(with some variations) for the entire period that 18pdr armed frigates were built by the French, first reaching prominent numbers during the wars of the French Revolution, and then becoming the official standard under Napoleon. The English also copied the underwater lines for their highly successful Leda class. Though outside of the initial time period for the game, it will be included when the game expands to later periods.
