I got the demo update but i still do not see anything under new game.

Is there perhaps a .cfg file i can edit to customise my resolution or such that will allow the UI to show?

The new update (v1.02) adds support for all video resolutions, so now it should work fine for you too.

The demo loads but when i select "new Game" it asks me to scroll side to side to choose a lvl, but the box that is supposed to display the lvls is empty.

I would appreciate any feedback on why this is please.

There is an easy fix for this: Press <Escape> to go into windowed mode and make the window smaller. The levels will show up. When the game is started, I'll be at the maximum resolution of my monitor again, in fullscreen (which is 2560x1600 for me).

I first tried to lower my desktop resolution (1280x800) to achive this, don't know if I needed to. BTW, I think the game shouldn't automatically chose a higher resolution than my desktop is.

weird i loaded the game, got a error (first one i have come across that shows in a error window) and it says the following:

Switching to resolution 720x480 failed, trying lower one
Switching to resolution 640x480 failed, trying lower one
Switching to resolution 640x480 failed, trying lower one
All resolution switches have failed
Screen: could not switch resolution (800x500 fs=1 hz=0)

Then the game loaded, in fullscreen i pressed ESC the game then shows the menu in window mode as u said and works after in fullscreen.

Thanks for the reply and help raoulxq.

It seems that there is an issue with some rare video resolutions. We are working on a general solution, which will come very soon, but meanwhile it will help us a lot if you can tell me what's your display resolution?
Thank you!
