Up to four heroes ride on a giant shield in a tower in their quest to vanquish the mighty gorgon Medusa. Fight, heal, gain treasure, rise upwards. Each hero will eventually fall and make their way for the next heroes, but their sacrifices will not be in vain - for their treasure will pass onto the next, paving the way forward ever onward.

Gather your party of expendable heroes in your quest to defeat Medusa! Control all four heroes as rise through the tower, switching through many fast paced game modes as you progress. Our heroes must battle waves of monsters, avoid traps, destroy monster generators and make their way ever upward.

Four game modes work in synergy, you must master them all to ascend the tower. Your heroes will gain powerful upgrades and new allies will join you on your quest as you venture further.

Gorgon Shield is a world first - a vertical roguelike, top down Action RPG, side scroller and survivor game all in one. Expendable heroes, powerful unlocks, simple to play but difficult to master.

The full version of Gorgon Shield releases in early 2024 and will feature:

• 9+ playable heroes including the priest, knight and rogue
• The Elevator - Stand fast on the shield, protect it from enemies and gather valuable loot
• The Labyrinths - Fast paced dungeon crawling through fiendish mazes of the tower
• The Tunnels - Side scrolling auto battler action as four heroes run and fight against the upper levels of the tower
• Conquer the vast Tower, then take on the horrors of the Pit and Dungeon modes
• Lots more enemy types and epic bosses to take down as you ascend the Tower
• Many upgrades, collectables and powers to unlock on your way to confront and defeat Medusa

• As soon as you reach level 5, you will gain a second hero - then again at certain points in the quest. These extra heroes will really help share the load.
• Keep an eye on your special powers and use them wisely. Heal when needed, use lightning to clear mobs and haste to gather loot fast.
• The right party synergies are all important! Four barbarians might sound fun, but who will heal them when things get dire?
• Expect your heroes to die often and early - but their upgrades will live on. No hero's death is in vain!
