I have seen this work on a few machines, (3 of my own) and fail on a few others, may have linked against a debug dll somewhere and fails on non dev machines?
There are alternative cfg files included to disable ogre directX, opengl seems to work better.
Keypad and/or joystick should work, 'esc' giving debug flyaround camera in game mode, '~' bring up menu, 'enter' & 'backspace' forward and back in menus, 'ctrl' jumps in game. 'arrowkeys' change menu selection.
menus and combat is a bit broken, if you end up in a list box in the menu, you need to move focus left or right in the menu to be able to select 'yes' or 'no'... was trying to get head around touch screen gui, but this implemented without touchscreen or mouse support. sorry.
Combat was just overly complicated, going though so many menus to perform an action is not fun.
Game becomes unstable after activating 'save game' point, which was about when i gave up on using a black box physics engine but could not find a nice replacement. I like newton, good to work with but i do hate not having access to source code.
