From out of the ashes comes a new space-shooter. Based strongly upon hit classics such as Zaxxon™*, Defender™**, Space Invaders™*** and Galaga™****. fTYPE attempts to revolutionize the classic arcade gaming community by delivering a title that contains both modern day story-driven combat with elements from the past which include hyper-paced trigger mashing action. Combine these features with a RPG-like skill tree system and the replay ability becomes near limitless. Here is a list of currently implemented features: -Arcade action combining Phoenix, Defender, Space Invaders and Galaga! -Choose from 5 factions to play - each with differing abilities. -Over 100 unique hand-crafted maps covering 5 different regions. -Each region features it's own themed-environment including it's own bosses. -Skill tree allows customizing your ship for speed, durability and offensive skills. -Progressively advance through the stages as your ship becomes stronger.
