A great concept and an unplayable game because of bugs.
Several bugs once in a while and a bit too random on damages and unit functions, but still a quite entertaining, original and cool game.
Am I missing something, or does the party not get saved between games? I can start previous levels, but only with the original party - no new units found during missions or rewards carry over. What's up with that?
Each level starts with the exact same party because you need to find and rescue your soldiers in cages spread over the current level. The reward is for completing a level and move on to the next in the same run. All levels can be completed without the reward, but it is a bit tougher.
I honestly don't see why the reward is only present when moving on to the next level in the same run. Is there a point to this? Why not make the reward with every run, including the ability to change it?
looks fine, but is way too buggy. many times characters are stuck, are swinging their weapons while hitting air, dead characters do not appear as dead, after exiting fullscreen game the resolution of Xorg is set to 320x240. please fix it!
Game runs fine for me in Ubuntu, no problems with switching between fullscreen and windowed mode. I haven't experienced the game becoming "stuck" like you have, perhaps you're using some older linux version. Also i noticed that the game uses SDL, so they probably won't be able to fix the "resolution" thing, because it's SDL specific.
It works fine on both my Samsung and windows Vista. Seems they managed to remove a lot of the buggs from the first version. Love the ending cutscene!
heh, loved the 80's style trailer, the game does look great but the battle animations seemed to need one or two frames more.
With that said, the game looks amazingly fun.
Thanks!
We chose to go with less animation frames so that we could put in more content into the game. The target platform is Android, so in order to cram in as much as possible, we decided to go with less frames. The game runs on most Android phones with Android 1.6 or higher.
