Myst Island addon - Far Cry 2

Inspired by the original MYST game, this map is intended to recreate the island of Myst, with (of course) a few combat incentivizing additions! Many millions of fans loved Myst; I certainly was one!

Many of us spent so many hours perusing the world created in that beautiful game; ironic that today's graphic capabilites far outmatch anything we could have seen then, yet Myst lives on in many a gaming community nevertheless. Despite its technological limitations, it remains unmatched in many ways.

Most adventure gamers believe there will never be another gaming franchise that so immediately, deeply and permanently impacts us as did Myst. Simply put, if nostalgia is the goal, I can think of no world more condusive than Myst Island!

No new gaming engines or graphic breakthroughs ever stop me, and millions of fans, from wanting to revisit that island. I only hope that in some small way we now can, even if it can never be quite the same.
