Wherever you look, there is destruction and chaos. Every force of nature seems to have been unleashed!" As the only person with the technology to set things right, you step into your time machine and travel back 900 years to change the course of history. Unfortunately, your travel is disrupted by the destabilized reality you tried to flee from, and you end up in an alternate portion of space-time: Distorted Earth. Time flows differently here, and so you estimate you have only 15 minutes to gather your bearings before the Apocalypse catches up with you again. This is the alpha version of Earth Overclocked. The full version will be released at a later date. The game will only be free during the alpha period, and after the full release the alpha version will be available as a demo.

Update: Version is now live!
This year's Halloween update improves on the game and adds some new enemies based on popular myths! It has been submitted for approval on Desura and it should be available soon.

-5 new rare mini-bosses based on popular myths have been added.

-The merchant purchase system has been improved. You now hold the Equip button and left/right click the weapon you want from the merchant's inventory.
-Merchants now refuse to sell you items if enemies are in sight.
-The Tutorial button in the menu is now more obvious.
-The Kaboomishi's possible projectile speed has been lowered.
-The Kaboomishi's possible knockback has been reduced.
-Various other changes and bug fixes.

Hey guys, Halloween update is incoming!
Keep getting failed to create earth overclocked process. Tried to verify the files but does'nt seem to do anything.
Are you running the game on Windows XP or an older OS? It doesn't run on older OSs due to the fact that the compiler we use doesn't support older OSs at this time.
Try reinstalling the game.
