There was a final rush to get Dungeons of Desolation ready for the Microsoft Dream.Play.Build contest and I barely made it, well sort of. The game is not completed by my standards, but it was complete enough that I could submit something. All of the systems are working and looking fairly polished. Mostly it is content (more monsters, weapons, items, levels) and balancing is missing right now, but there are a few big features too, like puzzle levels and mini-games.
The good news is that the final push for the contest means I got a lot done quickly, but I am not going to release until I am completely happy with every aspect of the game and a ton of testing has been completed. Here is the gameplay video that I submitted with the game for the contest:
